In a unique medical scenario featuring uncompromising African American doctors in a factual approach, Atlanta Plastic followed three of Atlanta’s top plastic surgeons — Dr. Wright Jones, Dr. Marcus Crawford and Dr. Aisha McKnight-Baron — and their patients, looking to undergo procedures of all types and upgrade themselves. Tummy tucks, facelifts butt implants and even a vaginaplastywere all on the doctor’s docket in the ATL.
In a predominantly caucasian genre we opened up the conversation. I was really please with the work I did. We managed to tell heartfelt stories and keep it funny and entertaining without succumbing to a low brow vibe.

This song dropped on the CW ‘s Vampire Diaries as part of the score for the TV series. I had an amazing time working with the artist Reign. She’s a Brit, so we laughed ourselves stupid. She’s become a real friend and I even call her by her name.

Starring Stephen Colbert and Nicole Sullivan, this was one of my favorite projects while working with Sesame Street over a 6 year period. These two hilarious people got to bookend the alphabet. Stephen Colbert may be last person you’d think of to play the last letter of the alphabet, but he was Zuperb! When I moved out to LA, guess who I bumped into almost immediately at the gym? Nicole Sullivan! LA has a way of reconnecting folks.

A few selects from the original promo. I was lucky enough to be part of the launch team for this celebrity unscripted sitcom looking inside the life of newly married Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy. The objective was to avoid another syrupy celeb docusoap and see an unexpected side of this couple. Big shout out to the entire team at 44 Blue and A&E. Without their combined support it wouldn’t have been possible. The series began with a 1Hr wedding special that was thrown together – we had about 10 days notice to pull off a large multi camera shoot in two distant locations we’d never scouted and included sending a DP on a small private jet with no producer and no sound person.

I was lucky enough to spend time with them making content with this amazing Grammy nominated gospel group from the Houston Area. Their parents Roger and Alicia manage the group and a family of 8 kids. This clip is raw and passionate. A rare video of them recording a demo. Check out the finished track on soundcloud:
This feature documentary was my first film as a director/producer and a labor of love.
Elliott Gould lends his distinctive voice to an emotional film, which chronicles the journeys of Jamaican migrant workers, the plight of New York apple farmers, and the bonds that have formed between these men as they struggle to maintain their existence in an emerging and fiercely competitive global economy.
Shot on location in the Hudson Valley NY and the Island of Jamaica.

So I met this guy making a medical show and his big complaint was his junk didn’t match his looks. He may not have had the goods in some areas but he had the balls to write a song about it so we figured we needed to make his music video
